Payment conditions
1. Contract Conclusion and Deposit:
Upon signing the contract, a deposit of 50% of the total cost is due. This deposit secures the wedding date and initiates the planning process. The payment must be made within 7 days of signing the contract.
2. Final Payment:
The remaining 50% balance of the total cost is due upon arrival in the Seychelles or at the latest one day before the wedding. This payment ensures that all bookings and services are fully confirmed and executed accordingly.
3. Payment Conditions for Weddings from €5,000
For weddings with a total cost of €5,000 or more, special payment conditions apply:
• 50% deposit upon contract signing to secure the date and begin the planning process.
• 30% installment payment at least three months before the wedding date, covering ongoing planning costs and securing all services.
• 20% final payment upon arrival in the Seychelles or at the latest one day before the wedding, ensuring the final confirmation of all bookings.
4. Payment Methods:
Payments can be made via bank transfer or credit card. Cash payments are also possible upon prior arrangement.
5. Cancellation Policy:
In the event of a wedding cancellation, the 50% deposit is non-refundable. If the cancellation occurs less than three months before the wedding date, 80% of the total cost will be charged.
6. Additional Costs and Modifications:
Additional services or modifications requested after the final payment will be invoiced separately and must be settled within 7 days of the invoice date.
7. Late Payment Interest:
In the case of late payments, interest charges of 5% per annum above the European Central Bank’s base rate will be applied. Additionally, we reserve the right to suspend further planning activities until outstanding payments have been settled.
8. Agreement:
By signing the contract, both parties agree to the above payment terms. These terms ensure financial clarity for both the wedding planner and the couple and guarantee a smooth and organized wedding process.

9. Additional Fees for Weddings in Nature Reserves and National Parks
If the wedding takes place in a nature reserve or national park, such as L’Union Estate Park (Anse Source d’Argent) or other protected beaches and areas, additional fees will apply.
• The L’Union Estate Park entrance fee is currently €15 per person.
• Other national parks or protected beaches may also have separate charges, which must be covered by the couple.
• These fees must be paid in advance to ensure a smooth wedding process.
We recommend checking for any additional costs in advance if the wedding is planned in one of these exclusive locations.
10. Exclusion of Subsequent Complaints and Refunds:
After the wedding has been completed and all agreed services have been paid for, there is no right to a refund or subsequent changes. Once the contractually agreed services have been provided and implemented by the participating service providers as agreed, they are considered to have been properly fulfilled. Subsequent complaints regarding individual services are excluded unless there are serious, verifiable deficiencies. Individual perceptions of taste, style, or personal expectations do not constitute grounds for complaint if the agreed services were provided as described. 11. Use of Images for Free Upgrades:
If SOMMER'S Weddings & Events grants the bride and groom a free upgrade – such as additional decorations, more elaborate setup, or other enhanced services – and this upgrade has been mutually agreed upon in writing or verbally, SOMMER'S Weddings & Events is deemed to have granted permission to use the images taken during the wedding. This includes, in particular, the publication of photos and, if applicable, videos for promotional purposes, e.g., on the official website, in social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), in presentations, print products, or other marketing formats.
